Oh, she's there singing on all the songs but the official soundtrack mix minimizes her contribution, is what I was pointing out, in response to the guy who was suggesting she couild be edited. I'm suggesting that she has been, at least on that CD.

In fairness to DJ, I took another listen to that movie soundtrack - this is was released when they remastered the movie for DVD a few years back - it's been heavily remixed and sweetened, and it's not so much that she's edited OUT as that she's edited WELL. She contributes some really nice stuff to the He's Gone(s), Half-Step, and a few others, but is buried much deeper in the mix on the stuff she routinely destroyed, like Johnny B Goode, GDTRFB, etc. It works - it's mostly a good mix. Or maybe she put in a better performance because she was on camera -it always seemed like she could sing when she tried.
I'm still not a fan, but that CD is an acceptable level of 1974 DJ for me. 1976-1978 she seems to have calmed down a bit, but as far as 1973 and 1974 are concerned she still pisses me off. She's responsible for the destruction of more great music than Salieri. See comment above re: bag o'cats/wood chipper.
